SIS Engineering

Safety Requirements Specification, Allocation of Safety Functions to Protection Layers, Specification of SIS sensors, logic solvers and final control elements

SIS Validation

Validate, through inspection and testing, that the installed and commissioned SIS and its associated SIFs achieve the requirements as stated in the safety requirement specification.

Functional Safety Assessment

Assessment as to the functional safety and safety integrity achieved by the SIS. Required after Stage 3 (Installation) and Stage 4 (Operation and Maintenance)
